Turkey and the war of drones

In the face of its repeated failures to achieve its goals, it tended to rapprochement with Russia and obtain a green light for military intervention in Syria. Accordingly, the Turkish army launched three operations deep into Syrian territory during the past five years, starting with the occupation of Al-Bab and Jarablus in the northern countryside of Aleppo, followed by the occupation of Afrin, and later on the occupation of Serêkaniyê and Tal Abyad.
