ORC Research published its poll on the presidential election in Turkey. According to the survey, Kemal Kilicdaroglu wins the election in the first round with 51,7 percent of the votes. The poll, conducted face-to-face with 3920 respondents in 28 provinces between 10 and 11 May, concludes that Kilicdaroglu will win the presidential elections without the need for a second round. The votes received by the presidential candidates, according to the poll, which has a margin of error of about 1,8 per cent, were as follows:<\/p>\n

Recep Tayyip Erdogan: 44,2 percent<\/p>\n
Sinan Ogan: 2,8 percent<\/p>\n
Muharrem Ince: 1,3 percent<\/p>\n

ORC Research has also published the results of the parliamentary elections. The results show that the AK Party will win 34,5 percent of the vote this year, while it won 42,6 percent in previous elections. Other parties received the following percentages of vote:<\/p>\n

CHP: 28,4 percent<\/p>\n
Iyi Parti: 13,7 percent<\/p>\n
Green Left Party: 10,6 percent<\/p>\n
MHP: 7,3 percent<\/p>\n
Other parties: 5,5 percent<\/p>\n

Today, the Supreme Election Council (YSK) President Ahmet Yener announced that the uncertain results will be announced on the same day as in previous elections. Furthermore, Yener made the following statement regarding election security: “On election day, all precautions regarding technological infrastructure such as power outages and cyber-attacks have been taken and necessary trial tests have been conducted. As of now, all measures have been taken by the YSK and our provincial and district election boards to ensure that the elections are held in a healthy and safe environment. In addition, one key to the place where the votes brought from abroad to Turkey are stored is given to the chairman of the Overseas Election Board and the other keys are held by the representatives of political parties.”<\/p>\n
