In the video, Kilicdaroglu states that he will meet with the Syrian government, adding that a protocol will be prepared with the Syrian authorities for the safety of the life and property of those who will return to Syria. \nKilicdaroglu considers the refugee problem as a resource problem. In his video message, he explains that all analyses indicate that if T\u00fcrkiye does not take precautions, the Euphrates and Tigris will risk drying up in the next 20 years. He continues his speech as follows: \u201cThis situation does not only mean that agriculture will be damaged in the southeast region of Turkey, our hydroelectric power plants will also lose their function and there will be a serious lack of water. This means that more than 60 million people living in T\u00fcrkiye and our southern neighbors Syria and Iraq are facing famine and thirst. If we do not take precautions, hungry refugees from Syria and Iraq will flock to T\u00fcrkiye.\u201d
\nKemal Kilicdaroglu believes that if T\u00fcrkiye loses its infrastructure, it will not be able to even keep the citizens of T\u00fcrkiye, let alone the refugees and fugitives. \u201cWe will sit down and solve this problem together,\u201d says President Erdogan\u2019s rival.
