Cultural and artistic activities in North and East Syria have increased immensely since the formation of the Charter of the social contract. Many new centers were opened for social and artistic studies and works. Furthermore, many projects for children have been commenced to stimulate their interest in art.
\nOne of these projects is the Children\u2019s Theater Group, which aims to give theater education to children in all cities of Northern and Eastern Syria. The project started in the city D\u00earik, and will be developed in many other cities. The training will be conducted in various languages so that every child can receive education in their mother tongue.
\nCountless children have lost their parents, siblings or relatives due to the protracted war in the region. The initiative strives to involve these children so that they can process their traumas and protect their own culture and language. Refugee children living in camps due to the Turkish occupation will also participate in the theater groups.
\nChildren will be trained in voice, music, dance and acting. After the training, they will perform their plays in different cities. The project will be completed with a big children’s festival that will be held in the summer of this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
