In a tragic incident of a bomb attack carried out by Turkish forces, a woman lost her life while her husband was severely injured. This terrible event occurred as part of an artillery shelling by the Turkish army on the city of Ain Issa in northern Syria on Saturday.
According to reports from the local news agency Hawar, the Turkish army, in collaboration with Ankara-backed Syrian militias, targeted the village of Al-Khalidiya in the west of Ain Issa district in northern Syria. This attack unfortunately resulted in the death of an elderly woman named Amsha Khalil Al-Bakari, 65 years old, and the serious wounding of her husband, Mohamed Al-Khalaf Al-Ali, 70 years old. This happened as a result of a grenade hitting their house.
Since last Wednesday evening, the Turkish army has carried out a series of violent bombings in the regions of northern and eastern Syria. Tragically, nine civilians were killed and many more were injured in these attacks. In addition, vital facilities, oil sites, and energy and water centers were severely damaged or destroyed by these barrages.
