The Autonomous Administration of North East Syria (AANES) issued a statement condemning the Turkish state’s aggression against the region and the international coalition’s silence on these attacks, which affects joint activities. The AANES expressed its indignation at the silence of the international coalition and the “guarantor powers” of the ceasefire, stressing that the attacks were in conjunction with regional and international developments.
The attacks carried out in July in Qamishlo, Amude and other villages in Qamishlo show the hatred and immorality of the Turkish occupying state, the Autonomous Administration said, stressing that the Turkish attacks violate all efforts to ensure stability and discipline in the fight against ISIS. The Autonomous Administration’s statement reads: “The series of Turkish attacks on the regions of North and East Syria continues with the same goal and objectives, which are represented in the form of genocide practiced by Turkey against our people, especially in conjunction with regional and international developments, in which Turkey is suffering from a kind of political cracks.”
AANES continues the statement with the following words: “Turkey is also involved today, at the same level, by creating strife and acts of sabotage and developing conflicts and sectarian differences for buried aims to strike our people’s project, while we extend our sincere condolences to the families of the martyrs and wish recovery for the wounded as a result of the Turkish targeting in the month of July, we affirm On our total rejection of the continuation of these crimes amid the silence of the international coalition and the forces guarantor of the cease-fire, and we hold these parties responsible for the continuation of the Turkish attacks.” AANES has confirmed that it is relying on the awareness of the people to stop the projects mentioned and has announced that, whatever happens, it will stand by the people to defend their gains and prevent them from being jeopardized.
