Afrin: Pro-Turkey Groups Kill Kurds for Celebrating Newroz

On the evening of Newroz festival, the militia Ahrar al-Sharqiya, allied with Ankara, opened fire on a group of citizens in Jenderes, which belongs to the city of Afrin in northwestern Syria.

According to local sources, the residents set fire near Al-Sinaa Street to celebrate Newroz. Shortly after that, gunmen from Ahrar Al-Sharqiya group opened fire on the residents and shot people in cold blood. As a result, four people died and three others were injured.

All four killed were from one family.
